RS 1 crore Old notes seized,2 people aressted

Pune July 28: Another exchange racket was busted yesterday. Police have arrested two persons and have seized Rs one crore in demonetised currency from two persons. This incident has happened at FC Road in Pune yesterday.
The sub-inspector of Deccan-Gymkhana police station.said that we have acted upon a tip off received and we have reached the spot. We laid a trap and nabbed them and have recovered the banned RS 500 and RS 1000 notes.
The police have said we have informed the IT department about the seizure and we have arrested Shailesh Chavan and Gita Shah. Last year Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced demonetization of RS 500 and RS 1000 notes.
