Washington, July 27: The leading IT giant Microsoft has thrown a big challenge to IT professionals across the world.

The company has recently posted on her official blog, The Company was ready to pay 500 $ to 250,000$ US (Rs 1.6 Crores) dollars if anyone found defects or vulnerabilities and defects in the recently released Windows-10 operating system software.

Microsoft has been launching such programs since 2012. Thereby company has been receiving expert suggestions from across the world.

Although the Windows-10 operating system was officially launched on the market in 2015, it has since released various versions with various errors. This special program has been launched to make Windows10 more accurate.

"Security is always changing and we prioritize different types of vulnerabilities at different points in time. Microsoft strongly believes in the value of the bug bounties, and we trust that it serves to enhance our security capabilities," the blog post read.

"If a researcher reports a qualifying vulnerability already found internally by Microsoft, a payment will be made to the first finder at a maximum of 10% of the highest amount they could’ve received," the company announced.

Other tech giants like Google, Facebook and Apple have also employed the same tactics to detect bugs and exploits.
