Indian Women's Cricket team got huge prizes

New Delhi, July 27: The Indian Women's cricket team returned to India after winning hearts across the world with their out standing performance.

While speaking at a felicitation function to honor the Mithali Raj-led squad for its runners-up finish at the ICC World Cup, Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu today announced a cash prize for 10 players.The Rs 13 lakh each will be given to 10 Indian women's cricket team members who have been employed with the Railways.

Along with this, Harmanpreet Kaur and captain Mithali Raj will be given the posts of Gazetted Officers in the Railways.

Punjab Govt has given DSP post to Harmanpreet Kaur along with Rs.5 lakh cash prize.The Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh announced Rs.50 lakh cash prize to Mithali's team.
