Amit Shah to contest as Rajyasabha MP

New Delhi, July 27: A party president would become parliament member soon.

Bharatiya Janata Party parliamentary board on JULY 26 has announced that Amit Shah party president will contest the August 8 Rajya Sabha elections from Gujarat. currently, Shah is an MLA of Gujarat Government.

sources say that 9 members will be retiring which include four are from the Trinamool Congress Two from the Congress, two from the BJP and one from the CPI-M.

Dilipbhai Pandya (BJP)
Smriti Irani (BJP)
Derek O'Brien(TMC)
Debabrata Bandhopadhyay (TMC)
Pradip Bhattacharya (Cong)
Yechury (CPM)
Sukhenduhakhar Roy (TMC)
Dola Sen (TMC)
