Galle, July 26: Shikhar Dhawan has been in spectacular form against the Sri Lanka and he blasted a magnificent 190 on the opening day of the Galle cricket Test against Sri Lanka.
190 - Shikhar Dhawan's highest individual score in Test cricket. His previous highest was 187, scored on debut against Australia in Mohali in 2013.
This is his third 150-plus score in Tests.
Here the news that, Dhawan's 126 runs in a session is the second most by an Indian batsman in Tests. Virender Sehwag smashed 133 in a session during the 2009 Test against Sri Lanka at the Brabourne stadium, Mumbai, in an innings where he blasted 293 runs.
So he misses the Sehwag rocord.
