Komatireddy Venkata Reddy letter to Naini Narasimha Reddy

Hyderabad, July 26: The Nalgonda MLA and Senior Congress leader Komatireddy Venkata Reddy has demanded the arrest of Goldstone Prasad here on Tuesday, whose name was linked to the controversial Miyapur lands.

In a letter to Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy, he said that Mr. Prasad was moving freely in the city for the last five days but the Government was deliberately ignoring his presence. Mr. Reddy said the Government was even afraid to file a case against Mr. Prasad and in fact, helped his brother get the bail smoothly in the same lands issue.



Venkata Reddy alleged that Mr. Prasad was involved in the land grabbing of over 10,000 acres worth Rs. 50,000 crore. Moreover, he was on the most wanted list of the United States of America (USA) and was living in India illegally, he alleged and accused the Government of deliberately ignoring him.

He said senior TRS leader, K. Keshava Rao was one of the victims of the Mr. Prasad and has been hospitalized after the 'land scam' was exposed. "If the Government fails to act on him it will send a wrong signal to the people", he added.
