BEEF in containers

Behrampur, July 24: Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, and Bharatiya Janata Party today set fire to a container truck on the busy national highway no 16 on suspicion that the truck was carrying beef in it. The incident occurred at Randha under Golanthara Police station.

Reports said that some local today morning witnessed red fluid dropping off the container truck which has overturned on NH 16 near Randha in the wee hours of the morning. The truck was being displaced to ease vehicular movement on the busy NH 16 when the people saw red fluid oozing out from it.

The message spread like wild fire and within a few minutes several activists of the saffron Parivar gathered around the truck and set ablaze before the police could do anything.
