Justice Challa Kodandaram about food adulteration

Hyderabad, July 24: Justice Challa Kodandaram asked the consumers to update their knowledge and file cases with appropriate consumer forums.

Kodandaram advised the consumer organizations to concentrate on bringing awareness among college students and school going children so that the next generation would be saved from food adulteration and its negative impact.

One of the officials said for the first time in the Indian history, he had recommended to the Union government to cancel Agmark license of a Hyderabad based producer who indulged in food adulteration.

He has said that food adulteration cannot be controlled unless the concerned officials take stringent action against the manufacturers of food products.
