Rover to study on the moon

New Delhi, July 22: For the first time a private company will send their rover to study on the moon as part of space research.

This is the first private company to experiment in the world. The Bangalore-based Team Indus Company has created a spacecraft.

The company's marketing in-charge Sheila Ravi Shankar said, "Quality testing will begin in the second week of August.

A team of 100 young scientists, along with a 600 kg spacecraft, along with a 6 kg weighted rover, was supervised by 24 ISP scientists.

It will be sent by the PSLV ship from Srihari Kota Space Station.

Team Indus CEO Rahul Narayan explained that the rover will land at the Maray Ibri, a crater on the moon for five days after being separated from the PSLV.
