Mumbai, July 21: The Indian Film Festival of Mel Bourne (IFFAM) will begin in Australia on August 10 this year. It is all set to kickstart from August 10, 2017, to August 22, 2017.
Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be a part of the film festival as a special guest
According to the sources, Aishwarya will be hoisting the Indian national flag at the iconic Federation Square building on August 12, 2017, on the occasion of 70th Indian Independence Day celebrations.
Bollywood Queen Aishwarya will be the first female actor ever to hoist the tricolor at the annual ceremony, which is part of a special segment.
Speaking at the event, Mel Bourne Festival director said, "We are proud of inviting Aishwarya as a special guest. The IFFF celebrations will take place for 12 days.
He added, "Aishwarya will be also walking the red carpet as a special guest at the star-studded awards night to be held on August 11 at Melbourne's Recital Centre."
