Centre sanctioned Rs. 60 Crores to Telangana

New Delhi, July 21: The Centre has decided to construct strategic level roads and repairs of existing lines already completed. The Union Ministry of Transport has decided to avoid accidents due to road construction and its deficiencies.

The central govt has sanctioned Rs 60 crore to the Telangana state for the road safety and also decided to revitalize the national highways in order to prevent accidents. The Center has made it clear to the States that it will identify the defects in the existing structures of highway roads and will make the changes in the plans.

The Center has recently written a letter to the state to send proposals to take corrective action on roads already completed. The Center has come to offer proposals to take steps to correct the road corridors in 9 places.
