New Delhi July 21: A Company has given a shock to its employees.
Sources say that Jet Airways India has ordered its junior-ranking pilots to accept 30-50 per cent pay cuts, or quit.The company has sent a letter to pilots to make sure that they take 10 days leave every month from August 1.
Experts say that Airways took this decision as a cost saving measure.Currently, the company has focused on fleet and network rationalization. The new orders will be effective from August 1.
Sources say that this decision will have a direct impact on 400 pilots. Currently, the airlines are in trouble because of growing competition and may take many more drastic steps in coming days.
