Arun Jaitley :GST a win-win for all

New Delhi, July 20: A presentation was made yesterday. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has made a presentation to BJP MPs on the benefits of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime.

He has said that "GST is a win-win for all, it would expand the tax net, bring down 'Inspector Raj' and cut prices of goods".Minister has also said that the prices of goods had come down between 4 and 8% since the rollout of new tax regime from July 1.

Jaitley has said that more than 1 crore firms would be migrating to the new tax regime against around 80 lakh companies earlier. Finally, he ended the speech by saying that the rollout has been much smoother than expected and the government would solve all implementational issues.
