Amit Saroha clinches silver medal in para Athletics

London July 18: A good news for India.Amit Saroha has won the silver medal for India. He has won the medal in the men's club throw F51 competition in the World Para Athletics Championships yesterday.

Saroha's throw of 30.25 meters, in his third attempt, has secured him the silver medal.The player has set a new record in the event. Serbia's Zeljko Dimitrijevic has won the gold medal by throwing a world record of 31.99m.

Amit after securing the medal has said that"I will try to secure the gold medal in next tournaments". He has also said that "I am dedicating this medal to the brave Indian soldiers who are at the borders of our country protecting us". Let's hope that he performs better in future events.
