Man killed wife over land dispute

Andhra Pradesh: Prakasham, July 17: Here a horrific incident occurred while a 36 yrs old woman was allegedly killed by her husband for not allowing him to sell a land at Tangutur, in Prakasam district on Sunday.

While coming to details, A 45-year-old man, in an inebriated condition, fatally attacked his wife Sunitha with a pestle, cut her hands with a blade and also stabbed her with a knife. The woman, who insisted on holding the land for the benefit of their children, died on the spot, police added.

Police seized material evidence on the spot and shifted the body to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS) here.
