Bengaluru, July 17: The Karnataka government headed by Siddaramaiah transferred the Indian Police Service officer D Rupa, who had on Thursday filed a massive corruption and heavy irregularities in Bangalore Central Jail.

On Monday, According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel Department of the state, D Roopa IPS (Karnataka 2000 batch), Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), with the immediate effect of the traffic and road safety commissioner IPS ASN Murthy, in place of the next order, till the next order of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Is transferred in the form. The government has transferred four other senior officials along with Rupa.

Let us state that the State Government has issued notices to senior police officer D Rupa, who has given a controversial report on alleged "special action" in the jail along with AIADMK (Amma) leader VK Shashikala.

At the same time, the government has asked them to clarify why they have given this information to the media. At the same time, official D. Roopa is on his side and he has said that he did not violate any of the conduct rules.



Due to a large controversy over the report of the DIG (Prisons) De Rupa, the shaming government asked him to give an explanation of his conduct.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, 'This is against the rules only'. Siddaramaiah openly expressed his displeasure over the public comment of the Deputy Inspector General (Prisons) D Rupa's report on its report. Rupa's report brought his senior and other prison officials to the charge of bribery charges.
