ACB raids on EO Srinivasulu Reddy

Andhra Pradesh, Nellore, July 15: The ACB officials have conducted simultaneous raids on Poreddy Srinivasulu Reddy, who was an in-charge Executive Officer of Sri Talpagiri Ranganadha Swamy Temple across in Nellore and Ongole here on Friday.

They unearthed huge unaccounted wealth compared to his known sources of income. They stumbled upon a mini bar, a home theater and costly interiors developed at nearly Rs. 50 lakh at the EO's residence in a duplex house located near the new Zilla Parishad Office in Dargamitta area here.

The ACB team led by DSP P. Parameswaran Reddy and CI N. Sivakumar Reddy continued the raids throughout the day in the presence of the EO and his family members. About Rs. 1.04 lakh cash consisting of new currency notes of Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 500 denominations were seized.

Officials said that 300 grams gold jewelry and 4 kg silver ornaments were found in the premises. As per the documents available during the raid, it was found that Srinivasulu Reddy got one building in Nellore and two buildings in Ongole town. The EO had five house plots in Nellore limits and another two plots in Chimakurthy in Prakasam district.
