SBI reduces NEFT, RTGS charges

Mumbai July 13: A relief has been announced. State Bank of India SBI has reduced the charges levied on NEFT and RTGS by 75 %. currently, NEFT and RTGS are being used to transfer money online from on an account to another. The revised rates are as follows

NEFT: For transactions below Rs 10000, 1 rupee will be charged against current Rs. 2.

For transactions between Rs. 10000 to Rs. 1 lakh, Rs. 2 will be charged against Rs. 4.

For transactions between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh, Rs. 3 will be charged against Rs. 12.

RTGS: For transactions between RS 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs RS 2 will be charged against RS 20.

For transactions above Rs. 5 lakhs, Rs. 10 will be charged against current RS 40.

The Bank has said that these reduced rates would be applicable from July 15, and will be applicable for those customers who use Mobile banking and Internet banking.

Finally, customers are relieved partially because yesterday the bank has increased the IMPS charges.
