Union Minister Ravi Shankar launches CSC Workshop

New Delhi, July 12: The Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the 67 crore accounts have been linked to Aadhaar for about 110 bank accounts in the country.

He spoke during the inauguration of the Common Service Center (CSC) Workshop on Aadhaar Services here on Tuesday.

At present, there are about 10 lakh people working in the CSC and hope to reach that number to one crore in the next four years.

Common Service Center (CSC) is providing the GST, digital payments and 300 types of services.

On this occasion, He also slammed the criticism of Aadhaar and He further added The linking of Aadhar and mobile number to the Jan Dhan accounts would be possible to add subsidies directly to customer accounts.

This process will save around Rs 50,000 crores of money.The 100 percent subsidies are being reached to the poor by the Modi government, through digital India.
