Godrej prices reduced

New Delhi July 12: GST is been successfully being implemented in the country. Currently many companies are reducing the prices.

* Godrej Company has reduced the prices of its locks by 5-7 %.
Currently 18 % GST is being applicable on locks. earlier locks attracted 22-25 % tax.

* Godrej Consumer products Limited (GCPL) has reduced the prices of the soaps it's manufactured by 6-8%. The company has said that we have not increased the prices of hair dyes even though they attract higher tax under GST.

The company has said that we have reduced the prices wherever possible to pass on the benefits to customers under the new tax regime.

MARS International has said that only PET food (dogs, cat) will attract 18 % GST and not packaged foods for human consumption. The company has also said that we have confirmed this news fro the government . Finally, customers are happy that prices are reduced.
