Aadhar helps to find missing boy

Madhya Pradesh, July 12: We all know that Aadhar is Unique Identification card in India, But, it helps to rescue the child and reunited with his family.

In 2013, six yrs old boy was missing at Anuppur railway station in Madhya Pradesh.He was spotted by railway police, but the boy was dumb and deaf.So, the police unable to get the details of him.

Subsequently, the district authorities arranged for the child's education and care under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme.

Four years later, In 2 days ago the boy was taken to a recent special enrolment camp at the State home for children in Bengaluru to register for Aadhaar. Surprisingly, The biometric data of the child was rejected due to duplication.

On verifying the documents, officials found that the children were already registered.

With the data, the officials traced the parents to Indore, Jharkhand, and Chittoor and with the help of local NGOs there, they managed to find the addresses and communicate with them.His father was Krishna Nishad of Raigarh in Chhattisgarh.

The child is mentally challenged."We are happy that through our efforts these children have been reunited with their families," Ashok Lenin, Deputy Director of UIDAI, told media.
