JDU stand apolitical

Patna, India July 12: A different strategy has been adopted by a political party. Janta Dal United JDU has decided to keep its ties open with both Ruling and Opposition Parties.Currently, the party head Nitish Kumar has said that we will support Gopal Krishna Gandhi as vice presidential candidate. Gandhi's name was proposed by opposition parties leader Sonia Gandhi.

However JDU has said that our stand will be based on the personalities .earlier the party has supported NDAs presidential candidate Ramnath Kovid.

This is not the first time party has taken such stands. Earlier in 2012 JDU has supported UPA's presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee while being an ally of NDA during that time, however, the party has supported NDA vice presidential candidate Jaswant Singh.

Experts say that JDU a key ally is making strategies which are not understandable whether they will once again bind ties with NDA or not?
