Rs.1 crore valued adulterated food items seized

Hyderabad, July 12: The Hyderabad city police are held widespread attacks on adulterated food items in the city here on Tuesday.

From all these attacks, The Police have seized the adulterated food products worth of Rs.1 crore.

"A case was registered against three persons and seized adulterated food products worth of Rs.30 lakhs in one day", said DCP Venkateswar Rao.

He revealed the details of the attacks on Tuesday. In a few days of these attacks in the Goshamahal subdivision, there were 20 cases have registered and seized the food adulterated products worth of Rs.1 Crore.

On Tuesday, three wholesale merchants were arrested and raided on 4 godowns and wholesale shops in the Shainaystganj police limits.

They have collected 17,500 kg of coconuts worth Rs 30 lakh, various kinds of adulterated products, wheat flour, fake oil, ghee, jeera, and pepper.

Earlier, Police have attacked on Milk Adulteration centers and Gutka godowns and seized adulterated substances.
