Tomato price hiked

Hyderabad, July 11: Here is the bad new for Vegetable lovers, For the first time in Telangana State, the price of tomatoes has been hiked to Rs 100 per kg.

Registering a 300 percent increase compared to the corresponding period last year. The maximum price of tomatoes last, as per the Telangana Agriculture Marketing Department, was Rs 20-30 per kg.

However, The price on Monday stood at Rs 80-100 per kg shocking consumers who visited markets in the past two days. Recently, The Telangana State has been witnessed the Heavy rains, IT impact flow of vegetables to Hyderabad, hence prices skyrocket.
