Malabar Drill a threat to China

Chennai, India July 11: A message would be sent today. India, USA, and Japan would jointly conduct Malabar Navy Drill in the India Ocean and Bay of Bengal sea. currently, it is the 25 th year of conducting such drills every year. The countries will perform the exercise using the following

* Frontline warships
* Submarines
* Aircrafts
* Warships
* INS Vikramaditya (45000 ton)
* American USS Nimitz (1,00,020 ton)
* Japanese JS Izumo (27000 ton)

Sources say that a total of 16 warships,2 submarines, 95 aircraft would be participating in this event. under this drill following exercises would be conducted

# Exercises will be conducted on the sea surface and land
# Maritime Patrol
# Anti-Submarine Warfare
# Training on carrier strike group operations, anti-submarine warfare,
# Photo exercise,
# Submarine familiarization
# Surface warfare exercises,
# Search and rescue exercises
# Helicopter cross-deck evolutions
# Underway replenishments,
# Gunnery exercises
# VBSS exercises,
# Anti-submarine warfare.

Finally, India believes that this drill would give China a strong message so that Indian ocean would be protected from China's expansion.
