Mumbai, July 11: Evergreen Beauty Sridevi as made her reentry to the big screen after 5 years of her last movie 'English Vinglish', which released in 2012.

BySeeing her character in the film, 'MOM', we can understand why she waited for a long time to come on screen again. Her character in the film is so strong it explains why even 50 years after entering the industry she is considered best actress. Despite having a slow start even after such a wide release, MOM grew steadily. Positive reviews and word of mouth helped fill the box office.

Although Day 1 collections were only about Rs. 2.90 crores in the domestic market, 'MOM' managed to witness about 75.17 percent growth by Day 2 increasing the collections to Rs. 5.08 crores.

This makes the total revenue about Rs. 7.98 crore. MOM is anticipated to collect a total revenue of about Rs. 15 crore by the end of the weekend. Watching the collections increase feels like the 5 years wait for Sridevi to get a script that she connects to so much, finally paid off.
