Modi Xi Jinping meeting to reduce tensions

New Delhi, July 9: A unique response was received yesterday. External Affairs Ministry has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has discussed a range of issues with China's President Xi Jinping during an informal conversation at G-20 summit.

India yesterday has refused to elaborate on the "range of issues" that were discussed by two leaders. The statement assumes significance because currently there is a standoff between the two armies in the Sikkim sector.

MEA has also said that we have tweeted the pictures of the meeting and it's up to the people to draw their own conclusions. External Affairs spokesperson has said that a picture speaks more than a thousand words. Let's hope that the meeting of two leaders would de-escalate the tensions between two countries and peace is established .
