Vijay's wife Sangeeta Sornalingam was convinced of his acting. That was the reason that once he had reached the set to meet him.In 1996, after the release of his movie 'Poove Unakkaga', he was greatly appreciated. The film was not only appreciated by audiences but also by Critics.

Saasha and Jason have made cameos in many films of Vijay (small rolls). Jason has made a cameo in the 2009 film 'Vettaikaaran', while Sasha has also done a small role in some films.
