AP CM hiked Mess charges by 50% for students

Vijayawada, July 8: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu has decided to increase the mess charges students' wages by 50 percent here on Friday. The Hostel students have been seeking to hike mess charges for a long time since 2011 with respect to hiking prices of food products.

The Chief Minister has been considered the students' requests, then taken the decision to hike mess charges. CM Chandrababu has conducted a review meeting on welfare departments about 3 hours on Friday.

The Social Welfare Minister Nakka Anand Babu told reporters, The minister said that various corporations have been brought under the same roof and the CM has ordered to see their welfare benefits to all.
 
Instead of lending to the beneficiaries through various corporations, they should also consider how well the beneficiaries have benefited from it. The CM has directed to make plans to benefit more than two lakh Dalits from the SC Corporation by Rs 2,713 crores in this year.
