Hyderabad, July 08: Here is the good news for the Telangana People, The Telangana government has been accorded permission to fill up 1,865 posts including 1,506 in Revenue Department and 359 posts through direct recruitment in Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, here on Friday.

The Telangana Finance Department issued two separate Government Orders on Friday sanctioning the recruitments after examining the proposals submitted by the two departments. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has been asked to issue the notification for the posts and the schedule for recruitment soon.

In the Revenue Department, as many as 700 village revenue officers (VROs) and 400 junior assistants/typists will be recruited. The cadre-wise recruitment break-up in the department includes

deputy collectors -8,

deputy tahsildars – 38,

district registrars – 7,

sub registrars – 22,

village revenue officers – 700,

junior assistants/typists – 400,

deputy surveyors – 210,

junior assistants in Registration Department – 50,

junior assistants in CCLA – 21 and

computer draftsmen – 50.

In the Panchayat Raj Department, the government has sanctioned 359 posts which include 277 posts of assistant executive engineers and 82 posts of assistant engineers.
