Vizag DRI officials seized 2.6 tons of Ganja

Andhra Pradesh: Vishakapatnam, July 8: The Visakhapatnam Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials have seized a huge amount of ganja nearly 2,629 Kgs. Th DRI officials have received the information about the big amount of ganja smuggling at Vishakapatnam forest.
The ganja smuggling trapped, which was transporting in Tipper lorry at Kandipudi nearby Anakapalli. The officials have identified 77 packets of marijuana and four arrested including tipper lorry driver.They have told that the ganja was transported to Bhubaneshwar.
The DRI officials have estimated the cost of ganja is about Rs 2.62 crores. The officials also arrested another 7 persons for smuggling of ganja at Krishnadevipeta of chinthapalli.They also seized 106 kgs of ganja and two bikes and two auto rickshaws.
