She also said that " what is good for the country cannot be bad for Jammu and Kashmir" and also said that people of the state would be benefited because of the new tax regime.

The Act was notified and the state has decided to implement the new tax system from July 8, 2017. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has congratulated the state and its Cheif minister for making sure that not much delay has taken place.

Earlier Separatists and traders have shut down the shops and they have protested against GST which has caused the delay for passage of bills and implementation of the new tax regime. Finally, the people of the state are happy because goods will become cheaper.
