NTR's Biopic hero

Hyderabad, July 08: Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Sr. NTR,) a legendary actor, founder of the Telugu Desam Party and served as the chief minister of AP for 7 years. Twenty-one years after his demise, in 1996, his son Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) decided to make a biopic in his honor. This biopic would be directed by Ram Gopal Varma (RGV.)

This movie is supposed to depict Sr. NTR's early life, his struggles to succeed in the film industry, political enemies and betrayals, and circumstances around his death. There is a lot of controversial buzz about Balayya not being able to do justice to Sr. NTR's role. However, everyone is waiting eagerly for Balakrishna to break his silence and address this.

While all that is going on, sources have also revealed RGV is planning to launch Balakrishna's son, Mokshagna in this biopic, tentatively called Jai NTR. Balayya will be playing the role of his father both as the actor and during his political career.

Mokshagna will play the role of his cousin and grandson to Sr. NTR, Jr. NTR, from his Nimmakuru days. Considering this is Mokshagna's debut, Nandamuri fans are naturally concerned about him doing justice to this role. Wishing Mokshagna all the very best for his debut!
