AP CM urged to supply Krishna water to Telugu States

Andhra Pradesh: Amaravati, July 7: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu has asked Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) chairman AK Srivastava to distribute the Krishna water in two Telugu states in the pleasant atmosphere.

The Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma, engineer-in-chief M Venkateswara Rao were taken chairman to the Chief Minister at the Secretariat. Water Resources Secretary Shashibhushan Kumar also accompanied them.

The Krishna and Godavari waters would be allocated to the states in the neutral system, and the current position of the states are after the filling of their projects, they are releasing water to the lower states, resulting in extreme injustice.

Without a dependence on rainwater, the state is undertaking a plan of water conservation and said that the rivers of Godavari and Krishna are connected.

In Prior to the meeting with Minister Chandrababu, the Minister said that in the camp office of Srivastava, the project of the Polavaram Water project, Pattasimha Scheme of Delta to provide water providing process was explained in a power point presentation by ENC M.Venkateswara Rao.
