Rahul Gandhi warns his party leaders

New Delhi, July 07: Congress party leader and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has been warned his party leaders for targeting Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar here on Thursday.

Here, We knew that The JD(U), of which Nitish Kumar is the president, reciprocated by hinting that it would go with the opposition in the upcoming vice-presidential election. According to the media sources said Gandhi intervened in favor of Nitish Kumar and instructed party leaders not to criticize the Nitish Kumar.

Bihar Congress president Ashok Choudhary has been confirmed to the media reporters that he had a meeting with Gandhi earlier this week in Delhi but refused to divulge the Information. The reports said that Gandhi, during his meeting with Choudhary, hinted that action would be taken against leaders issuing statements against Kumar.

Senior Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad was the first to target Nitish when Bihar CM extended support to the National Democratic Alliance's candidate, Ram Nath Kovind, for the Presidential election. Azad had alleged that Nitish wanted to ensure the defeat of 'Bihar ki Beti' Meira Kumar.
