New Delhi, July 07: Central Government examining to use the private vehicles as a sharing taxis in an effort to reduce the car ownership and curb growing traffic congestion in some major cities, it very uses full to control the pollution in cities.

Increasing the availability of vehicles that can be used as cabs would be welcome news for the companies such as Uber and Ola, although it could heighten tensions with taxi drivers that typically pay higher fees for the all commercial licenses while facing more rigorous vehicle testing.

The Central government wants to reduce the private car ownership, the government officials said that adding the three-month study will look at the regulatory, safety insurance and Tax implications.

Uber company is allowed to use private vehicles for ride sharing in countries like Singapore and Australia their use has faced opposition from the taxi drivers in parts of North America. An Uber official said that sharing private vehicles can help cut congestion and ensure more efficient use of cars.
