Posani about the drug addicts in industry

Hyderabad, July 07: Film industries everywhere have always had a bad reputation. It is an established fact that it is all fame and glamor on the outside. But the darker side of this industry is not unknown.

Recently in an interview, Posani Krishna Murali revealed some of those inside stories about drug addictions. He admits there has been the supply of drugs and there have been a few addicts. However, he claims the number is negligible.



A recent report on the prevalence of drugs in the industry affected him. Posani went on to say, "Yes, There are people who supply drugs and who got addicted to it in the film industry. But, we had no clue who they are! Because of few individuals, the whole industry has been blamed unnecessarily. So, I request everyone not to project the industry as a den of drug addicts. In my opinion, film personalities are great…we have a great system here."

Posani himself never saw drugs forget to take them. He claims he just saw them on TV and paper. Despite being portrayed as an alcoholic in most of his films, he mentioned that he keeps his distance even from alcohol and that he is an occasional drinker. Posani Krishna Murali believes a junkie is harmful not just for his own health but even those around him. He said those who encourage the consumption of drugs are also good for nothing.
