High Court grants relief for lower court lawyers

Hyderabad, July 6: A relief was given. The High Court of Andhra and Telangana has declared holidays for the period in which lower court judges and lawyers have done strike.

Earlier the lawyers and judges have boycotted the proceedings of the lower court above the appointment of Andhra people in Telangana courts.

They have made a representation to the high court to consider their strike period as special leave so that their salaries won't be affected. The HC after a thorough inquiry has accepted their recommendation.

The court has also ordered the lower courts to deposit amounts in national banks only and not in the cooperative banks. The Court has said people shouldn't be granted bail if they deposit in such banks. Finally, the lower courts judges and lawyers are happy because of the order issued by the high court.
