Chilli Powder Adulteration racket busted

Hyderabad, July 6: Recently, The food adulteration cases have been raising day by day in the state. Here another food products adulteration racket has busted, who were adulterated Chilli powder in the Ranga Reddy district.

The Hyderabad SOT police have conducted several raids on Wednesday with information states that The huge amount of chilli powder was adulterated in a plant at Bhavani Agencies in Mangalpalli village of Ibrahimumptam.

The Joint raids conducted by the SOT and Ibrahimpatnam police found that huge amount of fake chilli powder, cholera powder, which are tasteless and odorless stuff. With the help of food security officials, there was the mustard powder that was prepared in the place.

The huge amount of Mirchi was seized worth of Rs.50 lakhs.The Ibrahimatnam ACP Malla Reddy said, "The factory is contained Mirchi pile and Cardamom hull. What is the oil that mixing in the chilli powder is being investigated?

In the city, police attacked a racket of the manufacture of adulterated ginger and garlic mixture. The SR Nagar police had suddenly attacked the manufacturing place, where they were reportedly preparing a mixture of ginger and garlic in Madhuranagar near Borabanda.

They were found to make a mixture of ginger and garlic with potatoes, pepper, peanut. The accused, Mohammad Mujahid (46), was arrested. 100 kg of ginger and garlic mixture and another 75 kg containers were seized.
