Hyderabad Metro Rail delayed

Hyderabad, JULY 5: Hyderabad Metro Rail project constructed by L&T has been delayed. Hyderabad Metro Rail construction began in the year 2012, As per the schedule, it should be completed in 5 years but because of some reasons, the project has been delayed.

The Government has prolonged the time till November 2018 for the completion of metro rail works. The total length of the project is 72km, currently, 66.58kM has been completed.

The authorities are planning to complete the corridors Miyapur to LB.nagar 29kM and Nagole to Hi-tech city 27kM by the end of this year. The Government has ordered GHMC Commissioner to make sure that land Acquisition is not a problem so that project will be completed fast.

The amount invested by L&T in the project is Rs. 14,132 Crores, RS 3000 crores will be given by the TS government to complete the metro rail work. Let's hope that project will be completed soon so that people will be benefited.
