Etela Rajender fires on food adulterations gangs

Hyderabad, July 05: The Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender has been slashed out on food adulterations gangs in the Telangana State.

He held a review on Tuesday with the Weight & Measurement Department. The minister said that the government should not compromise on food adulterations.

Earlier, The KCR has said that "The health of people is getting affected by adulteration of food items while farmers are facing severe losses due to spurious seeds. This should be dealt with seriously and a strategy has to be chalked out to stem this menace.", from this aspect, he made strict actions against the food adulterations.



The minister suggested setting up a toll-free number to get complaints from the public and establish a department to monitor those complaints from time to time.

Director General CV Anand warned that if the authorities did not improve their work, they would have to take stringent action.
