Gang Rape in Khammam

Khammam, July 04: Drastic incident has happened in Khammam District, The 17-year old girl has been raped by four persons, the incident came to light here on Monday.

Coming to matter, The girl has attended the common friend’s birthday party, where the friends were harassed and raped the girl by taking the pictures and videos also.

The girl's mother lodged a complaint on Monday at Khammam 3 Town police station accusing her four classmates, all major, of raping her two days ago at the house she had visited to attend the birthday bash, police said.

According to a police officials information, the girl said the entire incident was filmed and she was threatened to not disclose the matter to anyone.

Later police said that After receiving the complaint a case on the charge of gang rape under the IPC (Indian Penal Code) and relevant sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act was registered.
