Modi First Indian PM to visit Israel

New Delhi, July 3: A historic visit will take place tomorrow. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Israel from July 4-6. Experts say that he is first Indian PM to visit the country since 70 years of Independence.

The Visit of PM to the country assumes significance because India is celebrating the Silver Jubilee of diplomatic relations with Israel which started in 1992. Currently, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described Modi as his best friend and his visit will be a historic one. Although it has been 25 years since we developed relations Indian leaders have meet the counterpart leader 3 times only that too in other countries on the sidelines of some international Conferences.

Experts believe that earlier governments didn't want to strengthen diplomatic ties with the country because they had a fear that diplomatic ties with Arab countries would be in trouble. However Current NDA government has revamped the foreign policy and is looking forward to making friends with many countries so that India cannot become puppets in the hands of few countries. Some even believe that PM visit will stop China's aggressive push to buy weapons because America is favoring India.

Sources say that India will seek cooperation with Israel in following sectors such as Defence Cooperation and Agriculture. Currently, the Country has agreed to transfer technology and also jointly collaborate with Indian Navy and DRDO to build advanced weapons under make in India scheme because it would be a win -win situation for both countries. Israel has already made an agreement to supply L-R Sam weapons to India.

Finally, experts are hailing PM Modi's vision for developing the country and they say that his visit will change the entire Geo-Political Situation after the collapse of America in 2008 due to the economic crisis. Let's hope that PMs visit is a success so that country is benefitted.
