Earthquake hits Guntur,Prakasham districts

Andhra Pradesh, Guntur, July 03: An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude hits Guntur, Prakasham Districts of Andhra Pradesh, According to the reports said on Monday.

The earthquake was live about 2 seconds, from this aspect many of the people have been going outside from the houses.

The earthquake hits in Prakasam District, Santa Magaluru, Eluru, Paritalawari Palem villages respectively.

In Guntur district, the quake jolts the villages, Shavalyapuram, Potturu, Krishnapuram. Locals are concerned about the frequent occurrences of earthquakes.

Scientists said that there is no need to panic.So far no major damage or injuries were reported and no warning alerts have been issued.
