She Team arrested a Teacher

Hyderabad, July 02: The Hyderabad police officials of She Team has been arrested, A school teacher, Vishwanath Anurag, 43, who allegedly entered the women's toilet of the school he was working in and made lewd gestures and spoke in vulgar tones to a 13-year-old female student.

Anurag, a resident of Saroornagar, was held after the student informed her teacher and parents.

In another case, Amer Khosru, 19, a third-year diploma student in a private college in Jafferguda, was nabbed for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in his neighbourhood. Police said Amer, a resident of Abdullapurmet, had dragged the girl into his house and locked her in his room. He returned after an hour and raped her, after which he locked her up again in a bathroom. Her parents rescued her after hearing her cries.

In a separate case, P Raju, 28, a resident of Kakatiyanagar in Sainikpuri was held for allegedly misbehaving with a 26-year-old widow at Kushaiguda.

The Rachakonda She Teams nabbed 29 persons in the fortnight on charges of harassing women. 26 cases were booked. Of the nabbed suspects, six were minors. Apart from these, 25 persons were held during decoy operations and complaints lodged by women through WhatsApp.
