Akhil sings song in SIIMA Awards

Hyderabad June 01: Akkineni Nagarjuna is known for his handsome looks and acting talent as well. He took time off to learn some songs and sang playback for Kotha Kotha basha in Nirmala Convent.

He also sang a song for his movie Soggade Chinni Nayana. Even Balakrishna has recorded two songs for his movie, Paisa Vasool. Following the example of senior actors, Akkineni Akhil to took to singing a song on stage.

Did he record the song for his film or did he just rendered it on the stage especially, we do not know yet? But the melodious rendition of 'Evevo Kalalu' from his next movie, in the direction of Vikram Kumar, became the highlight of the night in SIIMA awards. The actor performed dance numbers on stage before but never came up with singing a song on stage.

Nobody even expects it and the actor shined with his singing. Many have praised him for his voice and also he showed a lot of confidence in himself with the help of his composer Anup Rubens. The actor has always been popular among the youngsters and he is recognized as a star even before his debut.

But his debut film, Akhil failed miserably at the box office and the actor wants to correct it with his second one produced by his father Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna did congratulate his son on his stage performance and as it garnered a lot of positive buzzes, if he chooses to he can introduce him as a playback singer too in the movie.
