AP CM Chandrababu attended Textile India-2017

Gujarat, July 1: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu said that the Textile parks are going to be set up in rural areas in the state.

He said that we are going to develop a Textile sector in a bigger way and also called industrialists to put the investments.

CM Chandrababu has participated in the 'Textile India-2017' organized by the Central Ministry of Textiles on Friday in Ahmedabad.

He explained that The Andhra Pradesh is a landmark to the textile industry, the talented human resources are state-owned and the manufacturing of industries in the state has a positive atmosphere.We have all opportunities for the survival of the textile industry in Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra handloom industry has centuries of history and many places are still reminiscent of handlooms. Some of the companies in Guntur and Chittoor districts are still running successfully.

The seminar also said that the setting up of Textile parks in the rural areas should be done to small scale industrial owners. He also asked the Union Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani to ensure that the National Level Performance and Conference will be held in Andhra Pradesh next year, "Textile India -2018".

He urged the Center to bring the new policies to the garment industry.

Smriti Irani said, Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu has taken decisions will be soon.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and State Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs Acchennaidu, Textile Industries M.D Sri Naresh, Industries Commissioner Siddhartha Jain, Economic Development Board CEO Jasti Krishna Kishore, Chief Minister's Office Secretaries Satish Chandra and others.
