AP CM urged to release Health Bulletins

Vijayawada, July 1: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has urged to release the monthly health Bulletins in district level said in a teleconference here on Friday.

The CM Naidu has fired on various government departments in extending timely treatment to people who fell ill due to malaria in the tribal areas.

This would be beside devising a mechanism for quickly communicating the outbreak of epidemics that were taking a heavy toll on the marginalized communities.

Reviewing the situation caused by the viral fevers in the Agency areas, Mr. Naidu said that in due course, the health bulletins should be issued at the Assembly constituency and Mandal levels too.

Delay in attending to the medical emergency was to be partly blamed for the crisis and people too were ignorant about the preventive measures, he observed.

Otherwise, incidents such as the death of 16 persons in Chaparral in East Godavari district could be prevented, he said.

He called for proper coordination between the Municipal Administration, Rural Development, and Health and Family Welfare departments to check recurrence of such preventable diseases.
