Jayadev movie released today

Hyderabad June 30: The Telugu film industry witnesses yet another police drama with Ghanta Ravi's debut 'Jayadev'. The movie that released on Friday has Jayant C Paranji as the director.

The movie revolves around police officer Jayadev (Ghanta Ravi) who is a sincere police officer but finds himself in the middle of solving a police murder case. He learns through investigation that this involves liquor baron (Vinod Kumar). How Jayadev deals with the Don and puts him behind in the jail forms the crux of the story.

Though the movie has some high points, Ravi has a long way to go in terms of acting. If he selects the right roles, Ravi will be an asset to the Telugu Film industry. However, Malavika Raj, the female lead of the movie is good looking but remains an ornament for the film, that was not needed in this hero-centric film.

The high points of the film are action sequences that have been shot and presented well. Vinod Kumar was seen in a significant role after a long time.



However, the movie falls flat on the storyline front as it has been done over many times in the past. Apart from being predictable, the movie has no major twists.

Fans of Jayanth have been majorly disappointed due to the lack of proper narration. The characters are not completely built which leaves the audience disappointed. What could have been an empowering film, fell flat and failed to impress.

The Music, Production and the Background of the film also failed to work their magic and were deemed average. The lack of grip on the script was clearly visible in the movie as it was dragged unnecessarily in some scenes.

Final Verdict, for a debutante, the movie is too heavy to carry on shoulders. The lack of proper production and proper direction render the movie a below average.
