AP Farmers to get Rs.3800 Crores

Vijayawada, June 30: Here is good news for the farmers in Andhra Pradesh state.

The third installment amount of Debt relief scheme will soon be available to the farmers.

According to the government's initial assurance, the Govt will pay the Rs 3,800 crores including interest.

The Govt officials have taken steps to deposit the amount to the farmers' accounts. The debt relief scheme started in 2014 has resulted in a waiver of Rs 24,000 crores.

The government has decided to pay the loans Within Rs.50,000 loan was paid and up to Rs 1.50 lakhs in five installments.

The Govt has already paid in two installments to farmers' accounts. An amount of Rs. 11,076.72 crores were paid to 57.57 lakh accounts respectively.

Currently, The govt is planning to release the third installment and making calculations.

The Chief Executive Officer of Farmer Empowerment Authority Dr.M.Hari Jawaharlal has revealed that The govt will pay the 10% interest per annam for two years.
